Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and architect complex software systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability (TypeScript, Vue.js, Node.js).

• Provide significant guidance and mentorship to team members, setting short and medium-term strategic direction plans.

• Become a subject matter expert in our client’s technology stack and take ownership of significant components of the codebase.

• Influence prioritization and resource allocation with management and cross-functional partners to achieve engineering goals.

• Contribute to core technological projects while championing and leading experimental work.

• Lead incident response and post-mortems, ensuring efficient issue resolution and learning application.

• Actively participate in development activities within a fast-paced, agile environment (2-week sprints).

• Develop and implement software solutions that align with technical design choices and adhere to best practices.

• Leverage expertise in distributed systems, cloud service providers (GCP), SQL databases (PostgreSQL), and CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions).

• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Clearly communicate technical information and strategic plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Actively listen and provide constructive feedback to team members, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.

Requisitos

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building web applications, ideally in a fast-paced environment, using technologies such as TypeScript, Vue.js, and Node.js.

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering distributed systems aligned with a domain model, with a strong understanding of orchestration (Kubernetes) and service communication alternatives.

• High familiarity with cloud service providers (GCP expertise), strong SQL database skills (PostgreSQL), and CI/CD development experience using Github Actions.

• Experience with modern testing methodologies, including functional (unit, integration, UAT), automated, and performance/load testing.

• Proficiency in NIX environments, operating system and browser details (processes, threads, file systems), and the Git version control system.

• Experience as lead or principal engineer.
